Compensation amounts
The amount depends on route distance, not ticket price. Rates apply for arrival delays over 3 hours, cancellations without adequate notice, and overbooking.

Extra-EU flights over 3500 km, e.g. Warsaw → New York or Dubai.
Right to care
Regardless of compensation, the airline must provide care while you wait. Keep receipts — costs may be reimbursed.
Meals and drinks
Free refreshments appropriate to the waiting time — from 2 hours of delay.
Hotel accommodation
When an overnight stay is necessary, including airport–hotel–airport transport.
Communication
Two free phone calls, emails, or faxes.
Re-routing
Re-routing to your destination or a full ticket refund within 7 days.
